This Crossword Quilt is Up for Auction on eBay to Benefit Charity!

This beautiful quilt was displayed at the 2005 ACPT, and is now up for auction on eBay, through its Giving Works charity auction program, to benefit the Alzheimer's Association.

This 6ft x 6ft one-of-a-kind quilt, based on a 1978 puzzle constructed by Will Shortz and published by Margaret Farrar, includes many additional details superimposed on the puzzle itself, and has been signed by Will Shortz (see photo number 2 on the auction page). The quilt includes the puzzle's clues on the front, and the solution on the back.

The quilt was machine pieced and sewn by award-winning quilter Barbara Jensen of Troy, Michigan (sister of ACPT contestant Jim Jenista). Many quilters who saw the finished product up close at Stamford remarked on its superior quality and workmanship.

The auction will expire on April 22, 2005.
